  Ohhhh..., another goddamned meeting!!!

  I will start thinking of the nice restaurant gathering, meal and drinks afterwards, just like at the Memorial. It will make the occasion more palatable since I most definitely will have to attend.

  Current JW Go Fund Me requests

  this topic was discussed a few years ago and i thought i would have a look to see what is going on with go fund me's by jws.

  i am astounded that there are a great deal more jws requesting money than there were a few years ago and even by pioneers.i've only looked in detail at a few jw go fund me requests but came across this one that i am stunned about on a number of levels.. my little maryhello friends.

  meet my wonderful girlfriend mary, a 23 year old "need greater pioneer"serving in the english field in san marcos nicaragua.

  I recently saw a GFM account for a JW funeral. I found it strange, specially since it was benefitting a family that I know for sure if they pulled their own resources would have way more than enough to cover expenses. I mean, there are quite well-to-do, even rich people in that family!

  To see that GFA was, in my opinion, deceiving and shameful.

  in my stand up comedy routine tonight i want to list humourous reasons why i shd go back to jws.. how about nobody throws parties like jws.. how about jws being at the cutting edge of fashion.. how about it being easier for men to get a date.. any ideas?.

  Ridiculous (degrading) comment on society's video

  on video "benefits of divine education" william samuelsson makes totally appalling comment.. starting from 3:05 he refers to "an effort" that was made in past to see how society's curriculum corresponds with normal - worldly - universities.. then he claims that following question was asked (to university representative) "how we in five months can teach the same that for them takes two years"?.

  according to w samuelsson the representative of a university replied something like this: "your students are motivated, they have come to learn where as our students have been send to university by their parents and might have something else than learning in their mind".

  this is to crystallize what he said.

  It's easy to be flapping his old gums all the while being nicely and lavishly cared for until the day he dies at the JW's headquarters.

  I do my part in encouraging all young JWs to get as much duration as possible.

  What idiots these JW headquarters, and all others whose needs are being covered by our dime (CO's, etc.)!!! Come out here, make a living with minimum education, then let me know how happy you are having only 'Kingdom Education'!!!

  In the Spanish cong I attend there's this guy that's been kicked out 4 times. He cannot stay away from booze and the ladies. Very likeable guy, but super weak when it comes to women and alcohol.

  Poor brother in the Spanish cong that conducted the Watchtower study didn't have an easy time; people were not raising their hands to offer answers as much. I could sense that people ain't that stupid anymore about the WTBTS bullshit. Thanks WWW!

  When one of the questions was something like "What should we do when a truth is clarified?" (Or something like that, Spanish translation). I felt like screaming out my answer: "We just have to grin and bear it, or otherwise be labeled an apostate and be kicked out!"

  Personaly staged a silent protest. Been doing more and more of that type of behavior lately. I could feel others were not motivated either. The WTBTS is breaking bad.

  Kids ... and baptism.

  i have noticed, from reading posts on this and other related websites, what to me is an alarming practice taking place within the jw's.

  and that is the baptism of kids.. on a recent discussion posted by pe ( video of the girl now forced to shun her sister) this child was baptised at 9 years old.

  all of us who were baptised at a much older age know of the many questions one needs to give serious consideration and understanding of to become eligible for baptism, not to mention the two baptism questions asked before being dunked.. surely the organisation must know that children of such a young age are not mature enough to fully grasp the seriousness, demands and consequences of making such a decision.. another point; if jesus is the example to follow, then why did he only get baptised at age 30, and he was perfect!.

  This a huge pet peeve of mine and it's gotten me in trouble a few times, to the point of my hubby asking me to please stop or I will be labeled "Apostate".

  The WTBTS refuses to stop this practice of baptizing minors. These children (anyone under the age of 18) only memorize answers and are concerned with pleasing parents and people in the Cong.

  I have stopped watching baptisms at the assemblies because there are always a few children in the line.

  STOP IT! IT IS WRONG!!!

  We humans can have a personal relationship with the Almighty in the same way a fruit fly or an ant can have a personal relationship with us humans.

  In the grand scheme of things we are nothing to God. It even says it in his Word in many different ways... N O T H I N G!!!

  Our imperfect mind tricks us into believing all sorts of crazy stuff; having a personal relationship with God is one of those gems.
